Cross Strait customs policy differentiation declaration criteria: Taiwan compatriots who enter Taiwan within six months of returning for personal use can apply for personal item tax exemption if they meet the conditions; Mainland Chinese individuals holding legal residence permits in Taiwan who truthfully declare their own use of used goods can enjoy tax reductions, while new goods require proof of purchase to pay taxes in accordance with regulations. 2、 Standard moving process

1. Consultation survey and scheme signing (2-3 weeks before moving)

Customers can provide their addresses in both locations, a list of items, types of identification documents, and moving time. Customer service can provide an online estimate or free on-site measurement of the volume of the goods, and issue a detailed quotation that clearly lists all costs for packaging, transportation, customs clearance, customs clearance, and delivery. Select a sea/air freight plan based on cargo volume and delivery time, confirm and sign a formal moving contract.

2. Preliminary preparation and differentiation of prohibited and restricted goods (3-7 days before moving)

Free shipping of consumables such as shipping cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, furniture protective film, etc. Sort out the goods in advance, and prohibit the consignment of fresh meat, seeds, soil, tobacco and alcohol, pirated audio and video, controlled knives, flammable and explosive materials; Medicines, cosmetics, high-power appliances, and solid wood furniture need to be registered and declared separately to avoid the risk of customs seizure. Synchronize the collection of the complete set of customs clearance documents and verify them in advance for accuracy.

3. On site packaging, container loading and export (on the day of moving)

A professional team will come to the door to disassemble and assemble large items such as beds, wardrobes, sofas, etc. Ceramic, glass, and musical instruments will be protected by separate wooden frames. Each item will be numbered and registered, and a universal Chinese and English packing list will be made for both sides of the Taiwan Strait. The entire process will be photographed and recorded. After the goods are loaded into the warehouse and checked, they are loaded into the container. We handle the export customs clearance for mainland China and ship directly to Keelung/Kaohsiung ports. Customers can check the logistics progress in real time with the waybill number.

4. Taiwan local agent customs clearance (2-5 working days after arrival at the port)

Local compliant customs clearance agencies in Taiwan coordinate with customs to declare tax exemption. Customers need to complete the entry stamp and fill out the entry luggage declaration form upon entry, and entrust us to handle all customs clearance procedures without the need to go to the port in person. Customs will verify the packing list and physical items, and release them directly if they meet the tax-free conditions. A small number of new items will be subject to corresponding taxes and fees to be paid on behalf of the customs.

5. Delivery to households, final inspection and acceptance

After customs clearance and release, the local fleet will deliver the goods to the designated address, carry them upstairs, assemble furniture, and place items; Customers can check and accept each item item, and free cleaning of packaging waste is available. During transportation, if there is damage, the specialist will coordinate with the insurance to quickly determine the loss and claim compensation.

4、 Warm reminder

All item lists must be truthfully filled out, and the value of goods cannot be underestimated or large electrical appliances concealed, otherwise fines will be imposed;

During the typhoon season from June to October, shipping schedules are prone to delays. It is recommended to book shipping 30 days in advance during the peak season of school and returning home;

Personal belongings must be cleared and picked up within six months of entry, and tax exemption policies cannot be applied if the deadline is exceeded.
